Four steps, about ten seconds

Start with the cap
Every BlackBörk cap carries a 7 x 7 cm leather front panel backed with hook-and-loop. That panel is the mount. Pick the silhouette you want first: Trucker, Baseball, Snapback, Six Panel, Bucket or Beanie.
Peel the patch off
Grab a corner and lift. The hook-and-loop releases clean. No tools, no stitching, no glue, and nothing left behind on the panel.
Press the next one on
Line the new patch up with the panel and press it flat. It grips across the whole surface, so it holds through wind, a backwards cap and a full day out.
Run the rotation
Every patch is the same 7 x 7 cm, so every patch fits every cap. One cap and three patches already cover a week without repeating a look.

Does every patch fit every cap?

Yes. One size, one system: every BlackBörk patch is 7 x 7 cm (2.75") and every BlackBörk cap has the same leather mounting panel. Any patch goes on any cap, across the full range.

Will the patch fall off?

No. The backing grips the full surface of the panel, not just the edges, so it stays put through daily wear. It still lifts off in one motion when you decide to change it.

Does the cap come with a patch?

Yes. Every cap ships with the patch shown on its product page. Extra patches are sold separately so you can build a rotation around the cap you already own.

How many patches should I start with?

Two or three on top of the one already on the cap. That is enough to change how the same cap reads every day of the week.

How do I clean the cap?

Take the patch off first. Then spot clean the cap with a damp cloth, mild soap and cold water. Do not machine wash and do not tumble dry, because both deform the crown and the brim. Reshape the crown and let it air dry in the shade.

How do I clean a patch?

Wipe it with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Never machine wash a patch, as it damages the hook-and-loop backing.

Do the swaps wear out the cap?

No. The panel is built for repeated swapping. Nothing is sewn, pinned or glued, so there are no holes and no adhesive residue to deal with later.
